Yoga has been part of my life for more than twenty five years. Working as a sound designer I found the curiosity and self enquiry of yoga to be another way of listening - a way of tuning in to an internal soundscape. I teach a breath based, focused flow, using the body in a moving meditation leading towards increased clarity and calm. I encourage listening to your own body as a way to become both playful and compassionate towards yourself. This isn’t about looking great in lycra but feeling centred in yourself.
Yoga is an ongoing revelation and has guided me through pregnancy, bereavement, menopause and other life changes - move by move and breath by breath.
I trained in London at the wonderful yogaonthelane.com with Naomi Annand, Adam Hocke and Anna Taylor, and qualified in Menopause Yoga with Petra Coveney.
My classes are designed for all levels and there will always be options for those practicing during pregnancy, with injuries or just for those days when you have excess energy to burn, or want to take things slowly!
